Rebekah Stivers had an old business plan, to make lingerie for pregnant women, which she unearthed last year to launch Whoa Mamma! A newcomer to the apparel business, she first tried U.S. manufacturers until lucking into a great relationship with an entrepreneur in Hong Kong, who helped her fill her first order from a Target buyer this spring. A risk management consultant, she recommends a cautious approach to entrepreneurship.
Whoa Mamma!™ announces the launch of its Spring 2009 line of upscale maternity loungewear, sleepwear and lingerie. The company recently provided a sneak peek at some of its spring color options when it headlined a LA Market Week fashion show last month.
Whoa Mamma!™ is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the MOM2B fashion show Friday, October 17th at the California Market Center (CMC) in Los Angeles as part of LA Fashion Week Spring '09. The company will introduce several new looks in its line of upscale maternity lingerie and nursing sleepwear during the show, which kicks off the three-day MOM2B trade show.
